Gurgaon, 21 May 2014 : Business process, procurement and technology services provider, Xchanging plc, together with its Xuber, its insurance software business, has expanded India presence with opening of a second office in Gurgaon. This week a team of 150 staff moved into the new office.
By the end of 2014, this will see employee count in the Gurgaon operations increase from 1,100 to 1,200.
Xchanging’s Gurgaon operations support UK, US and Europe-based customers in the Insurance and Financial Services space, providing technology and business processing solutions. The location is the largest of Xuber’s global delivery centres, with teams providing product development and testing services. Xchanging is also seeing increased demand for its Application and Engineering Services, from both local and global customers in the financial services, insurance, manufacturing and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sectors.

Xchanging was recently awarded Level 5 in its CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) assessment, the highest mark of this industry benchmark. The award recognises the work of the Gurgaon-based application engineering team which supports the London insurance market. Xchanging is one of only ten companies worldwide qualified in both CMMI for Development and CMMI for Services.
