Xolo Windows tablet is a first in India with an AMD processor

NOIDA June 12 2014: Mobile devices maker XOLO has launched  the first AMD processor -fuelled tablet to India:  The Xolo Win Tab is  pre loaded with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Home Office & Student 2013 version and uses a large  10.1” 10-point capacitive touchscreen (1366 x 768 pixels)  LED display. 
The  Xolo Win Tab  uses the AMD Temash A4-1200 processor a Radeon HD 8180 GPU.  TheA4-1200  has two 2 CPU cores with a base clock of 1 GHz, a 28-nanometer chip with a Radeon HD 8180 GPU, a Southbridge with various input/output ports, and a single-channel DDR3L-1066 memory controller. The Temash series of processors are dedicated for tablets.
The 750 gram XOLO Win is powered by 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage.There is a micro port for HDMI, Internet via dongle, and Keyboard, Printers and Headphones through its Mini USB port. It also has a micro SD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.The tablet is WiFi ready. It comes with a 2 Megapixel primary camera and a 1 Megapixel HD front camera and promises a battery life of 6 hours. The tablet is available on FlipKart at Rs 19,990, but you can save Rs 3000 by exchanging an old tablet or laptop.
