Karbonn supercharges its latest smartphone with a quad core chip

New Delhi, January 29 2013: A 1 .GHz quad-core processor. 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB ROM. Built in graphics co –processor that supports a HD display. Does that sound like the specification of a respectable laptop or PC or what? In fact it describes the latest smartphone being launched by Indian handset maker, Karbonn Mobiles.

The  Karbonn Smart Titanium 1 is arguably India’s first quad-core CPU smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,   with its in-built Adren 203 Graphical Processing Unit, which powers  a 4.5” IPS qHD display which enables heavy duty multi tasking apps including 3-D graphics and  very fast browsing.TheAndroid 4.1 Jelly Bean –fuelled handset comes with 1GB RAM, 4 GB ROM and a 1600mAh battery.

The Smart Titanium 1 comes with a high-performance 5MP camera with flash. It also carries a digital front camera for video calling and supports 3G HSPA connectivity.
