Bangalore, December 3, 2012: The  new Samsung GALAXY Camera  which  combines  professional digital photography with the powerful intelligence of the Android OS is available in India from online e-commerce sites, ahead of its formal launch in India – at slightly less than the rupee equivalent of its global dollar pricing  Rs 30,000.

The first truly ‘connected’ camera to reach India, the Galaxy has almost  full  mobile phone functionality as well as the Internet sharing ease of the Android operating system, in a  16 megapixel  21x  optical zoom camera with an oversized screen.

The Galaxy Camera lets users  upload photos direct  to the Internet using  either a 3G from the  in-body-SIM  or a  WiFi network. The Android OS means  they users can also download apps, check emails and play games using the camera.

The Galaxy camera is not  quite the first in this niche, but it  is unique its own way as it has almost 65 editing features in built in it. The user therefore will just not be able to click the images but also cut, crop and add other editing features to bring out their artistic best.
