Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company has launched its own tablet device – the Beetel Magiq -- an Android 2.2 tablet for the Indian market.
The 7.0” WVGA screen Magiq, has 2 megapixel front and rear cameras and 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable to 16 GB. The device which has a 2200 mAh battery for long battery life supports WiFi( 802.11 /b/g/n) and 3G (with an Airtel SIM). Beetel Magiq is fuelled by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor.
Vinod Sawhny – Executive Director & CEO, Beetel Teletech Limited, said at Wednesday’s launch: “The Beetel Magiq is not only about affordability but also about aspirational features which were previously available in the high-end devices and not within the reach of the majority of Indian customers. The tablet will be available in India at an MRP of Rs. 9999.
