The startup enables parents to find certified tutors in their neighbourhood, while providing tech-enabled teaching tools to tutors.It assures end-to-end experience for tutors by providing engaging content, technology and training. By building an ecosystem that brings together certified tutors, tech-enabled learning content and tuition seekers, PlanetSpark is on a mission to organize the $62 Billion unorganized private tuitions market of India in a highly scalable manner.
The startup's 'Blended Learning' approach to teaching school subjects to preteens is a mix of classroom teaching and tech-enabled online learning. Their unique technology gives them the ability to create Digital Learning Games, Cartoons, Quests in 30 minutes through Tech inventions at scale.
PlanetSpark built a scalable full-stack tuitions model in Delhi NCR by partnering with 200+ qualified tuition teachers in the region and has a current month on month growth rate of 30%. The start up shares the revenue generated by their tuitions with their partners. On an average, PlanetSpark today receives around 6000 applications per month from tutors and holds over 7.5000 classes per month.
“The future of early and primary education lies in a Blended Approach. Which is why we have adopted a blended approach to learning that combines gamified learn-tech products and conventional classroom learning," says, Maneesh Dhooper, Co-founder, PlanetSpark.
PlanetSpark has been backed by leading test prep firm, FIITJEE and has received seed funding worth INR 1.6 crore. The startup has partnered with FIITJEE for content development and Product Mentorship through EdFora, the EdTech arm of FIITJEE.By the end of 2019, the startup plans to offer full-stack tutoring for all K8 subjects and aims to impact 50K PlanetSpark students and one million users.
