K2 Learning takes commerce education from text books to tablets

Bangalore, January 29, 2014: Education solution provider K2 Learning Resources, has launched TabLab, an initiative to bring education -- particularly commerce education -- on tablets. K2 Learning is partnering with Edutor Technologies, Notion Ink, and Global ITeS, to set up Tablet Labs in pre-university colleges and K-12 across Karnataka.
TabLab digitizes textbook content, creating an interactive medium to meet the learning needs of today’s students in the form they would like. K2 Learning will initially focus on commerce education and will gradually expand to other streams such as Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary. in the future.
Targeting at installing TabLabs in 20 colleges in the first year of launch, K2 Learning’s Tablab helps bring in a personalized approach in commerce education. A primary feature of TabLab is the dynamic method of presenting matter. Quizzes and interactive lectures facilitate better learning and are also instrumental for tracking students’ growth.
