Bangalore, April 13, 2015: Lenovo has launched its flagship offering in its entry level smart phone range -- the A7000, in India.
The USP of the product is the fact that it is the world's first phone to feature Dolby Atmos sound. Atmos is powered by Dolby's proprietary technology that creates a moving audio illusion with an object-based listening experience in the cinema, at home, and on the go.
The A7000 claims to recreate the same moving audio effect -- that of a specially designed accoustic room -- through the earphones plugged into the smart phone. Interestingly, Lenovo promises the Atmos effect even while a normal pair of earphones are plugged into the phone. The device also enhances any sound or movie content that is Dolby 5.1 compliant, to Atmos, reengineering it to provide moving sound effects.
Flowing from the intelligence that 75% of all smart phones sold in India are priced below Rs. 10000, Lenovo has priced the A7000 at Rs. 8,999. Featuring a 5.5  inches screen, powered by a 64-bit 1,.5GHz Octa-core processor, the device comes with a 2900mAh battery providing 39 hours of 2G and 16 hours of 3G usage. The dual SIM (4G and 2G) sim also features an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera with selfie beautification modes as well.

The Lenovo A7000 will be available on Flipkart from April 15.
