Buddy Backup

Back up all your work on your buddy's computer!

The concept of online backup has been around for a while now, but with a number of consumer backup companies going out of business and users consequently losing files, the time was clearly ripe for a new solution—and BuddyBackUp   an offering  from a London based  developer is just that.
It  allows  you to backup all of your files to your friends' computers automatically over the internet in a highly secure manner. 'Buddies' give each other space on their hard drives to allow a reciprocal backup. Files are encrypted before sending (no-one, not even buddies can read them) and then transmitted over the internet to your buddy's computer for safe keeping. BuddyBackup uses your internet connection smartly by only sending changes to files, and slowing down when you're using your PC.
BuddyBackup allows you to store multiple copies of your files across buddies' computers, so even if one of your buddies is away, you can still retrieve files back from another one.
You can even backup to a USB drive so you can also have a local copy of your files, photos and documents.
Not only is it great for home users, but also for companies who have laptops, or home users who can backup for free to a computer in the office.
