Smartron  makes  new slate of connected devices in India-- for the world

April 1 2016: An Indian startup, based in Hyderabad -- Smartron- looks to disrupt  the global  smart device business with its own offerings that  seek to break barriers  platform with an all encompassing   "hubtron" ecosystem.... part of the company's vision of an Internet of Trons.
 In Delhi  yesterday,  the company which has  100-strong developer teams  in Hyderabad and Bangalore  -- and a tie up with  contract manufacturer Foxconn at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh, unveiled  its first  'tron' product -- the  t.book,  a 12.2 inch  mobile workstation running Windows 10 on an Intel Core M processor, with  128 GB of solid state storage and 4 GB of RAM,  a high res  2560  by 1600 pixel touch display,  the latest  dual USB-3 ports and  the currently fastest  802.11ac  built in WiFi. The  foldable  kickstand is   just one element in a  strikingly elegant design  and  when it goes on sale  on April 8  for Rs 39,999, it is likely to disrupt the market  for convertible  ultrabooks.
