Via.com extends its Android travel app to Apple users

Bangalore,  September 18 2015:  Hard on the  heels  launching an Android app, Asia's largest travel network Via.com,  has unveiled its iOS app with  new features like fare calendar, Express Checkout and real-time chat.
Available for the iPhone and iPad on iOS7, the app features a clean interface that allows user to quickly hone in on the lowest airfares using intuitive filters, rapid sorting and fare calendar.
These  features work create a seamless travel booking experience that also enables significant savings.
The Via iOS app facilitates quick resolution of any booking related concerns by offering real-time chat option with Via help desk. Users can book flights using their credit cards, debit cards and net banking. The app also allows users to book flight tickets now and pay later in easy installments. The highlight of the Via iOS app is the fare calendar - a nifty tool that allows users to track the flight fare between any two destinations for a period of one year. This can be particularly useful for travellers who have decided on a destination but willing to wait for the lowest fare

Via.com's Android app, which was launched in February this year, garnered unanimously positive reviews and has been downloaded by more than 4,00,000 users around the globe. The Android app accounts for almost 40% of the transaction of Via.com and has resulted in a 140% spike in conversion rate.
