Preparing for the new breed of on-demand data centres

New Delhi, May 18, 2013: Global leader in data center networking and fabric solutions – Brocade -- has announced a unveiled a comprehensive new strategy for its Indian customers, that combines the best aspects of physical and virtual networking to increase business agility, reduce complexity and scale virtualization to new levels within and across data centres. 

Dubbed the "On-Demand Data Centre" strategy it harnesses Brocade’s VCS Fabric technology and embraces the emerging technology of Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Also introduced is the Brocade Virtual ADX, which provides a virtual application delivery platform that increases the speed of application resource deployment and differentiated services for dynamic cloud environments. 

The solution addresses three urgent demands of todays data centres, explained Brocade’s India Regional Director, Edgar Dias: multi-tenancy, on-demand deployment and a harsh economic environment that calls for nil hardware enhancement and flexible licensing models.
