Top Notch Infotronix have just launched in India, an ultra portable speaker-cum-FM radio for use with laptops or MP3-type music players.
The Zebronics “Nitro” stereo system, measuring just 20 X 3.5 X 7 cm connects to cell-phone, laptop or MP3 player via a 3.5mm stereo connector. It is powered by its own rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, and its makers claim it will run for between 90 to 120 minutes on a single charge, without draining your player’s power source or drawing USB power.
The Nitro comes bundled with a USB cable (for charging), a 3.5mm jack audio cable (for connecting the music source) and its own pouch. At Rs 950, it is a useful accessory for those who like to have music in the background where ever they are. Headphones are OK;  but not convenient when moving about indoors ( and having to keep one ear peeled for telephone or doorbell). This is where the Nitro will look like a good idea.  May 9 2011
