Intex sub-Rs 5000 phone offers touch, motion sensing

Indian mobile hand set makers continue to challenge the global brands with a combo of features -- touch; dual –SIM; motion sensing; megapixel camera – all at an asking price of less than five thousand rupees.
The INTEX V. DO Touch is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone with 3.5 inches touch screen with a 3.0 MP camera capable of recording and playing videos in formats of the likes of 3GP & MP4 at 25 FPS. One can also zoom while recording with just a single touch.

The touch interface provides a seamless navigation amongst the various functions – WAP and GPRS enabled by Opera Mini browser & Java, FM Radio, FM Record, Bluetooth, and Intex Zone comprising of Facebook, Google, Yahoo, MSN and Mobile Tracker. The audio player works with almost all formats (MP3/AMF/WAVE) and can also stream them to an external set of speakers with the help of a 3.5 mm jack present in the phone.

An Internal memory of 68 MB can be expanded up to 8 GB and a user can talk for 4 hrs on a single battery charge. The stand-by time is around 400 hrs. Other features include Motion Sensor and Answering Machine. INTEX V.Do Touch costs Rs 4950.
