Vivo V7 Plus goes beyond infinity!

Bangalore, September 11 2017: Slowly but surely smartphone makers are joining the bandwagon of devices with less body and more display. The most recent  is Vivo with its V7Plus. We got our hands on this device and we think it has a lot more to offer than just the display.
Vivo has associated itself with selfie lovers for a while now, and just like the other devices from its V series, the V7 Plus has a feature rich front camera with a whopping 24 megapixels resolution and f 2.0 aperture. The updated Face Beauty 7.0 now uses an algorithm that enhances your pictures by clearing the blemishes or spots to make your face look clean. Not just for still images, this feature can also be used while recording videos. Also, there's the moonlight glow for your selfies in the dark. For those special effects there's the Portrait mode that gets you the bokeh effect by blurring the background.
We find that the picture quality is really impressive and those who love taking selfies will be happy.  The 16 megapixels rear camera combined with f2.0 aperture also gets good quality photos.

The other highlighted feature of the V7 Plus is its bezel-less design with a full view HD display. The screen size of this device is 5.99 inches with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.15mm narrow bezels. The V7 Plus feels quite handy and compact for a device with a larger screen size. The display quality with 1440 x 720 gives detailed and clearer images.  The full metal-body with curved edges and 2.5D Corning  Gorilla glass give this device a premium look.
Apart from a fingerprint sensor at the back, Vivo has also added a facial recognition software to unlock the phone. While it's an interesting security feature, but we were a little disappointed as it took some time to set-up and also the recognition wasn’t quick.
The V7 Plus was a smooth performer and could run without any lags, thanks to the Snapdragon 450 chipset with 4GB RAM. The device runs on Funtouch OS 3.1, which is based on Android Nougat 7.1. OS. The internal memory of 64 GB is expandable up to 256 GB. It comes with a decent battery life with 3225 mAh, but there's no fast charging option. The dual SIM device supports 4G connectivity.
Just like its other smartphones, Vivo has maintained features like smart screen split, eye protection mode  and app clone in the V7 Plus.
Vivo V7 Plus is priced at Rs 21,990 and will be available from  September 15 across India.
