Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker: Getting the best out of Bluetooth

Audio leader Bose has responded to the increasing consumer trend of music-on-the-go. The company has brought its trademark sound quality to portable devices like the iPhone, Android smart phones, iPad and other tablets – harnessing their Bluetooth connectivity with the Bose Soundlink Wireless Speaker. With no wires or docking required, streaming music from your portable device to the integrated Bose speaker system is a cinch. And to ensure that the sound quality is far better than anything you would experience from the parent device, Bose has combined four low-profile neodymium transducers to get the high- and mid-frequencies, combining them a patented waffle-shaped surround, to reach the low notes. Dual- passive radiators placed in an opposing fashion, ensure that any vibration is eliminated. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery promises some eight hours of listening at typical listening levels .
The handy paperback book-sized speaker is edged with automotive grade chrome to take a beating and the protective cover doubles as the stand. The system “remembers” up to six different Bluetooth devices.
The standard SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker costs Rs 19013; if you fancy a luxury feel, the LX model, in dark brown leather costs Rs 23,513.
Ultimately music streamed via Bluetooth can only be as good as Bluetooth will allow – but with the Bose Soundlink speaker, you can go where no Bluetooth has gone before.
