Arun Seth is to be the Chairman of Alcatel-Lucent India , a leader in mobile, fixed, IP and optics technologies. He will work closely with Rajeev Singh-Molares, President-APAC on overall APAC and India strategy.

Arun continues in his current role as the Non-Executive Chairman of BT India, with whom he has been associated since 1995, when he set up BT’s first India office. Before BT, Arun held several senior leadership roles at the UB Group and HCL. Arun also holds advisory positions on the executive Committee of NASSCOM, as a member of the Advisory Board at TERI, Board of Governors for Helpage India etc. He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta.  July 7 2011
