Bangalore,  August 4, 2015: Sisir Pillai   has been appointed Chief Operating Officer  at Lukup Media, India’s first dual  TV-Broadband service provider.
Sisir an industry veteran, with over twenty-two years of experience in the field of cable television, broadcasting, marketing, and advertising sales,  will lead business operations for the company across India.
He has been associated with the cable television industry from the inception stage and has played a pivotal role in the growth story of some major multiple system operators (MSOs). In the realms of broadcasting sector, Sisir has been a key force in channel distribution and placement with leading broadcasters like Zee Telefilms, CNBC TV18, ETC Network and Sahara. Prior to Lukup, Sisir was associated with Digicable for eight years, playing an active role in transforming Digicable Network into one of the leading MSOs of the country. Sisir is  a Pharma graduate from Manipal, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Mumbai University.

Lukup Media operates India’s first on demand and multi-screen TV service. Set up in 2010, the company currently operates an OTT platform powered by the Lukup Player, a multi-screen home gateway that brings internet delivered content to Televisions and other consumer devices. In the coming months, Lukup Media also plans to bring linear broadcast TV channels and internet access through a single connection and delivered to homes using the Lukup Player.
