Rupa Santosh to head Nokia Tech Centre in Bangalore

Bangalore, June 24, 2015: Rupa Santosh  is the new  head of Nokia Networks’ Technology Centre, Bangalore. In this role, Rupa will continue to manage the centre  as a key research and development site for Nokia Networks globally, as well as an employer of choice within the local ecosystem.

Prior to this, Rupa was leading Single Radio Aaccess Network R&D at Bangalore where she spear-headed research and development across key network entities like RNC, BTS and Femto, providing leadership to over 450 member team. Rupa brings with her over two decades of experience in telecom software development where she has successfully delivered several large-scale, multi-site projects in complex technology areas.
The Bangalore Technology Centre is one of the largest R&D centres for Nokia Networks contributing to key product development in telecommunications networks. Working as an integral part of Nokia global R&D, the Bangalore center plays a key role in development of several major products.  The center located at Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore has  a workforce of nearly 4000 .
