New Delhi, February 13, 2015: Leading Indian  smartphone player Micromax Informatics has  appointed  Ashish Agrawal as its new Chief Technology Officer.  
Ashish will be  responsible for Micromax  bringing  future technology disruptions into the market. Prior to joining Micromax, he served as the Chief technology Officer with Sirqul where he was instrumental in creating product definition, execution and adoption of Sirqul’s suite of mobile engagement products and services.
Ashish  has  16 years of experience in Web Services, Mobile, e-Commerce, payments and large scale distributed systems.  He has spent 14 years in Amazon in software development, product development and technology leadership roles. He holds a degree in engineering from IIT-Delhi and has done his masters in electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York.
