Bangalore, July 15, 2013 – Ganesh Guruswamy has been named Vice President and head of Design Operations for the SanDisk India Design Center in Bangalore.
His responsibilities will include leading the design center’s world-class engineering teams in the development of SanDisk’s next-generation consumer storage solutions, including USB flash drives, memory cards, microSD cards, and other removable flash-based products.
Prior to SanDisk, he served as vice president and India country manager at Freescale Semiconductor, and in senior management and engineering roles at Motorola, Advanced Micro Devices, and the Indian Space Research Organization.Guruswamy has served on the executive council of the Indian Semiconductor Association and has been featured in multiple publications. He earned a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Idaho in the United States, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics from Bangalore University. www.sandisk.com .
