New Delhi, April 30, 2013 – Partho Dasgupta, is to be the first Managing Director of the new entity, NEC India, a subsidiary of NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Partho will be responsible for fostering the growth of NEC India and integration of Computers and Communication (C&C) technologies to build an information friendly society. He will also work to empower societies through CSR initiatives. He will also focus on building NEC as a global leader in the IT and telecom space, as well as to deliver cutting edge technology in the fields of Public Safety, Unified Communications, and Cloud Services.
We had reported on the creation of NEC India after the arrangements with HCL were ended.

In his previous appointments, Mr. Dasgupta has spearheaded transformation solutions and Go-To-Market practice initiatives around Virtualization, Unified Communications, Green Data Centers, Total Outsourcing, Infrastructure Management and Security.
