SMEs invited to set up shop for free at GetItBazaar.com

New Delhi, February 11, 2013:  India’s first marketplace where sellers from across India can open their online store and display their products for free was announced today and it’s called www.getitBazaar.com.

It is a new step towards enabling SMEs in India to reach out to more buyers from across the country on the principles of free to start, easy to use with simple payment terms and premium services that deliver enhanced value. With a vision of E-Commerce for all Indians, the company has tried to create the elements of an Indian Bazaar where sellers and buyers interact, bargain and complete transactions. With zero upfront investment, the seller can sell their products online by just paying the logistics and payment gateway charges on actuals. The bazaar offers a wide variety of stores including SMEs (manufacturers, small traders, wholesalers, distributors, retailers & home businesses), importers and large manufacturer brands selling a huge assortment including Indian brands, unbranded goods, local specialities, imported brands, international brands and current online favorites.

Says Kiran Murthi, CEO, getitBazaar: “e-commerce is one of the fastest growing industries since last few years in India. We wanted to provide a dedicated platform for SMEs where sellers from across India can open their online store and display all their products to a much larger Indian audience. While sellers get an opportunity to increase their business multiple times, buyers can see products from multiple stores and buy their choice of product with great value offers from the store of their choice”.
