Says Girish: “In 2008, when the iPhone App Store was launched, my co-founder, Vijay Radhakrishnan came up with the idea of “creating apps”. Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was an inspiration for us to start our own digital magazine store. We had the expertise of App creation as well as magazine publishing and so Magzter came very naturally to us.”
