Gurgaon, Haryana, September 16, 2012 --India's Largest Payments Solutions Provider, Oxigen has tied up with China-based telecom technology provider Telepower, to bring the first ever mini ATM which doubles as a Point of Sales terminal to this country.
OxiShaan as it will be called is specially designed for rural deployment, with the functionality of a Phone, GPRS connectivity, Printer and Battery back-up to combat power failures. It comes with a plethora of Utility, Merchant Payments and Mini-ATM services, all rolled into one single device.
Oxigen plans to add over 2,50,000 PoS enabled mini-ATM's in the next 3 years. It will enable even the smallest mom and pop shops/Kirana stores, to become a customer touch point for ATM like banking services. Oxigen , a Business Correspondent to State Bank of India, has developed OxShaan to enable the Government's payments disbursement plans like NREGA, Pensions, Subsidies, etc.
