Bangalore, June 10, 2012: The Manipal Hospital Group, Headquartered in the Indian state of Karnataka, has entrusted Wipro Infotech, with the implementation and upkeep of the latest Hospital Information System across 15 hospitals and just under 5000 beds, spread over 11 locations across 5 States. The proposed HIS application is patient-centric. It will provide immediate access to clinical, administrative and billing data required for the efficient functioning of a hospital. It will ensure high levels of automation, better availability of information; reduction in patient’s waiting time and better utilization of revenues.
Wipro’s engagement with Manipal Hospitals encompasses integration of HIS with third party software, interfacing with lab equipments and providing infrastructure support services on HIS Platform.
MHE’s hospital network annually services around 2 million patients in India and overseas.
