King of Prussia (PA)-US, February 10 2012: Bangalore-based embedded solutions provider Ittiam Systems’ mobile Wireless LAN platform, coupled with a dynamic spectrum management solution from US-based wireless technology leader, InterDigital, will help service providers harness the so-called TV White Space and other under-utilised telecom spectrum to reduce WI-Fi network congestion.
The system will be unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, which starts on February 27. 
Ittiam is a leading provider of Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) technology and its MWLAN platform provides the Wi-Fi MAC and Physical Layer for InterDigital's Spectrum Management which achieves allocation and aggregation of contiguous and non-contiguous frequency channels across licensed and unlicensed bands.
