HP leverages recent  acquisitions to offer broad enterprise security slate

Bangalore, September 23: Strengthened by the acquisition last year of network security entities Fortify, Tipping Point and ArcSight, Hewlett Packard is now taking on specialist players in the field with a broad spectrum of Enterprise Security Solutions .
These solutions promise to address threats and potential liabilities resulting from the rise of new technologies like mobility, cloud computing and social media.
To bolster its pitch to Indian enterprises, HP today shared research results that suggest that in Asia Pacific alone, nearly 50 percent of senior business and technology executivespolled reported responded that they experienced a security breach by unauthorized internal access, while 39 percent responded that they had experienced an external breach.
