Maxx brings noise cancellation to mobile handsets
Maxx Mobiles' range of noise cancellation handsets

Bangalore, July 22: Maxx Mobiles, one of India’s ‘new generation’ mobile companies has launched a ‘Khamoshhh’ range of handsets – the MX401 in the chocolate bar format and the MQ601 which features a QWERTY keypad. Both the handsets feature a SAM technology that curtails external background noise during a call.

An innovative signal processing technology is incorporated into the handsets that eliminates exhoes and suppresses ambient noise. The noise cancelling can be activated or deactivated using a dedicated key, and the level of noise suppression can be adjusted in the ‘call settings’ menu.

The MX401 is priced at Rs. 2833 while the MQ601 is available for 2950 and features a 2 megapixel camera.

Ajjay Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, MAXX Group said, “Today, a mobile device has become more than just a communication device, it has become a lifeline to most of us. Whether it is a conference call for abusiness pitch or catch-up call with old friends, a mobile phone has become indispensable. But our conversations are never without the hustle-bustle of everyday life. Crowded restaurants, busy offices, chaotic commutes make it difficult to have a quiet conversation. In India, where there is still a very high preference and dependence on voice calls, we believe  this series is the perfect device for an Indian audience.”
