The largest information technology show in Asia – CommunicAsia -- has attracted a number of new Indian exhibitors this year, in addition to the regular participants like Finolex, Shyam Networks  andToshniwal. The first timers include Tata Communications, Bharti Airtel and Vu TelePresence. Says DevitaSaraf, CEO, Vu TelePresence: “We look forward to having a successful launch of our product in Singapore. ITU Secy. Gen to speak: A highlight of the conference this year will be the keynote address on June 22 by Dr. Hamadoun Touré, the Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He will speak on ‘Next Generation Broadband Infrastructure’.
23 international group pavilions, including representation from Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Finland, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and USA, are slated to display will display on the CommunicAsia2011 show floors.
Moving from its long time home, the Singapore Expo, near the airport, CommunicAsia moves downtown this year to the brand new Marina Bay Sands convention facility.
