Bangalore, July 31, 2018:  Remember  that famous advertisement tagline of Tatas during  the 1970s: We also make steel?   We won't be surprised if Korean tech giant Samsung  came up with  its own take on the lines: We also make  smartphones!
That is because the Korean tech giant is into some many things besides its flagship consumer handset line. Besides its own brand of  LED and QLED TV sets, it  offers TV displays  and PC  monitors as OEM products  to many other makers including Thomson; storage products,  audio accessories.. you name it.
Last week at  its 'Mobility Conclave 2018’, an exclusive meet featuring cutting edge mobility solutions in Bengaluru. The day-long exhibition showcased Samsung’s latest next-generation mobility solutions that Samsung has to offer to the enterprises: Augmented Reality; Virtual Reality; Artificial Intelligence; Sales Force/ Field Force Automation Solutions and Bio-metric authentication solutions.
"Samsung offers reliable and secure enterprise mobility solutions as a crucial last mile enabling productivity, collaboration and smarter way of doing business,” explained Sukesh Jain, Senior Vice President, IT and Mobile Enterprise Business,Samsung India in a chat with IndiaTechOnline on the sidelines of  the event.
Arguably the most  visited demo was  the stand  displaying  Samsung's Knox platform which was shown  in remote device management scenarios; and  neatly enabling the same device to be partitioned into separate personal and work silos -- a cool way to work and play on the same phone or tablet. Knox can also be used to create custom  terminals for   any industry application

The integrated devices can be used for attendance system, micro ATMs, eKYC, direct benefit transfers, account openings, credit card payment collection, etc.
The Industry Solutions of Samsung include VR and AR solutions put to use for virtual trainings, design/preview of designs, education, simulations, tourism, multimedia, healthcare, automobile, retail, etc.
