Red Hat ties up with Redington for distribution & IBM for combined cloud offering
Red Hat.... joins with Redington & IBM in separate partnerships

Bangalore, June 11, 2018: Major supply chain provider,  Redington , is to distribute  the full range of solutions from  leading provider of open source solutions, Red Hat, in India. These include Red Hat Cloud Suite, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Ansible Automation and Red Hat JBoss Middleware.
With this collaboration Redington will identify and appoint regional system integrators, ISVs and born in the cloud partners to further expand and develop open source partner ecosystem in India. Redington’s partners will be able to offer their customers Red Hat-supported open source technology for deploying their workloads on public, private and hybrid platforms through the container platform and while automating service, application and infrastructure provisioning and management, though a subscription-based model that allows them the ability to scale out based on their business requirements.

​IBM-Red Hat partnership
A separate announcement last month,  announcement a major expansion which will enable  IBM and Red Hat customer, to  benefit from the combined power of both companies’ technologies in private and public clouds.
IBM and Red Hat clients  can now maximize their existing technology investments and move them more easily to the hybrid cloud with IBM Cloud Private and Red Hat OpenShift serving as the common foundation and build and deploy containerized applications on one single, integrated container platform IBM Cloud Private providing a single view of all enterprise data.
