Neha Hasabe... CEO at a fashion portal -- for a month

Bangalore March 20 2018:   Belgaum-born Neha Hasabe an M.Comm. student at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC), Pune ,  will be "CEOForAMonth"  at  fashion discovery platform Wooplr -- earning a salary of  Rs 1,00,000.
She is the winner of Wooplr's month long  campaign  with Internshala, the biggest internship sourcing platform  to highlight  internship opportunities.
Over  200,000 students from 50,000 colleges  all over India participated in the #CEOForAMonth challenge which kicked  off on February 3.   Neha who will now work alongside Wooplr  founder Arjun Zacharia, made it to the shortlist of 24 city-wise  finalists  from Srinagar to Kanchipuram.
Says  Zacharia: "Our #CEOForAMonth campaign celebrates the sense of jugaad in college going individuals and is an endeavor to unleash the entrepreneurs of the younger generation. It is a hunt for young and aspiring entrepreneurs, looking for a platform to prove their mettle. "
Neha Hasabe, who comes from a tightly knit middle-class family, opened her store on Wooplr almost a year ago.  Her friends would describe her as stylish and a lover of junk food but basketball is her new love. She is really anxious to unravel the role of a CEO and is eagerly waiting to be a part of the Wooplr family. She says:"I'm ecstatic! When I'd first set up my store on Wooplr, I had no idea that this was in store for me. The #CEOForAMonth challenge has given me a great head start and I'm overjoyed at the prospect of being a part of Wooplr. I can hardly hold my excitement as I look forward to my stint as Wooplr's CEO. It is indeed a privilege to get an opportunity to work with Arjun Zacharia."
This one of a kind internship does not require the intern to get everyone coffee. Instead, Wooplr provides an internship role as high as that of a CEO, a stipend higher than what was ever heard of in the country, and skills that one could utilize for a lifetime. Talent acquisition has reached another level with a series of unique tasks designed specifically to ignite the potential of those aspiring college students which have an entrepreneurial instinct within them.
