October 3 2017:  Aegis Graham Bell Awards -- an initiative of The Aegis School of Business, Data Science, Cyber Security and Telecommunication --  is inviting nominations  for the 8th year running.
The award is intended to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of Telecom, Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud, and Security.
The Aegis Graham Bell Award is organized with support of Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), and Telecom Centres of Excellence (TCOE), Convergence India and Deloitte as a knowledge partner. The Award also serves as a tribute to the father of telephony, Alexander Graham Bell.
AGBA is inviting innovations for the year 2017 under the categories like: Innovative Smart City solution, Digital India Initiative, Cyber Security, Innovation in Cloud,Data Science, Innovation in Virtual Reality, Telecom Product/Solutions, Innovation in IoT, Best Value Added Services, Green Telecom, Telecom Infra, Innovation in mHealth, mLearning/mEducation,  mTravel/mHospitality,  mAdvertisement and Mobile Application for Social Good.
New categories this year
There are some new catetgories this year: Innovative ERP Solution, Innovative Mobile TV App,  Mobile Application for Social Good  and Innovation in mTravel/mHospitality
There is also a Jury Choice Individual Award: Aegis Graham Bell Outstanding contribution in Telecom.
The deadline for no0minations is October 6  2017 at 8 PM. Jury rounds will take place from November 13 to 17 in Mumbai and the grand award ceremony is scheduled for February 23 in Delhi.
