An all-in-one home automation solution is coming

Hyderabad and US-based Blaze Automation will offer the B.One Hub in India, from August
Bangalore, May 15 2017: US and Hyderabad based, Indian talent led Blaze Automation,  has carved out a small niche in the global business of IoT (Internet of Things)  solutions.  It has  now   brought  its flagship product B.One Hub   -- an all-in-one  device that controls and manages  a slate of smart home  automation  and security  agents -- to India.
It enables homeowners to control and automate security, ambience, entertainment, and   heating, ventilation and air-conditioning HVAC systems efficiently. The product is certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Industry Canada (IC) and is in the process of receiving certifications for Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Blaze has received seven patents for its products.
It received its first global airing at this year's  CES show in Las Vegas in January, where it was  shown working with home   products from Amazon, Aeon Labs, Belkin, Cree, Fibaro, GE, Honeywell, Nest (by Google), Philips, Sonos and Yale.
Is there a market in India for what seems at first glance, a fairly futuristic product?  The makers seem to think so: Says  Blaze CEO Sridhar Ponugupati: “The Indian smart home market is worth Rs. 8,800 crore and with B.One Hub we will offer the most advanced and affordable device for home owners. We have already booked orders of over  Rs  260 crores (USD 40 Million) in the international market. We’re excited to showcase this leading technology which will be available at an affordable price to the Indian market.” Adds Arjun Valluri, Chairman of Blaze Automation: “Smart Homes are the fundamental components of Smart Cities and Blaze Automation will aid Indian Government’s mission to build 100 Smart Cities. We want to become the world’s most widely used home automation and security Hub, while helping home owners digitize their lifestyle and optimize energy savings. "
B.One Hub will be available in India from August  and  the pricing starts at Rs 15,000.
For a product like this to find buyers, they must have already invested in  domestic goods and appliances with 'smart' features.  Blaze seems to be banking on this happening in India -- soon.
