September   9 2016: Rashi Peripherals,  is  to be the primary authorised  national distributor of the  the new iPhone smart phones - iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 plus in India.  
Redington with its corporate office in Chennai,  and  42 Sales locations across India will also sell the new iPhones. 
Ingram Micro is also offering the phones  and says re-sellers would be doing launch events at select locations in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore
The phones will be available here, a month from now on  October 7, 2016.  India prices are expected to be in the Rs 60,000 -- 75,000 band. 
Rashi says “The smart phones will be available at over 1000 retail locations across India.” 
The new iPhone features new advanced camera systems, more power and performance with the best battery life ever in an iPhone, immersive stereo speakers, wide colour system from camera to display  and is the first water and dust resistant iPhone.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus  will be available in  more than 25 countriesg from next week, September 16.
