IEEE has  timelined 8 generations  of gaming    from Atari and Sega  to Playstation and XBox.  
It encourages readers to  visit the  a interactive video game timeline, play with it and engage with it, between June 15 and July 26.  
Visitors  can rate  the historic games,   and  also enter a contest where a PS4 is the prize.
