VLSI conference comes to Bangalore, with an Ideathon  to trigger innovation

Bangalore  December 24 2014:  Students and technology professionals are being challenged to a 60 hour hackathon, early in the New Year,  to create prototypes that would  result in products relevant to the India eco-system.
The Internet of Tnings (IoT) Ideathon is being held January 3 – 5 2015 at  PES University, Bangalore, on the sidelines of the  28th International   Conference on VLSI Design & the 14th International Conference on Embedded Systems.
The winner of the Ideathon will receive a cash prize of INR 1, 00, 000. IoT, - Building a Smart Connected World” is the theme  of the conference  -- a confluence of all stake holders of the ecosystem - Industry, Academia, Researchers, Innovators, Regulators. between January 3 and 7 at the Leela Palace.
 IoT in combination with sensors and wearables herald enormous opportunities for fundamental research in chip design, system engineering, new materials, sensors, communication, embedded software and various allied fields. The conference will see and hear experts from various industries engage in discussion on the diverse aspects of IoT, opportunities for India.
