New Delhi, July 21, 2013: Reliance Communications, has launched an aggressive pricing for its 3G services, promising 3G data at 2G data prices for Smartphone and Tablet users. All new and existing Reliance subscribers can now avail of best-priced 3G services nationally, across the post-paid and pre-paid segments.
Says Gurdeep Singh, President and Chief Executive Officer, Wireless, Reliance Communications: “This is an inherent part of RCOM’s objective to take high-speed data services to every Smartphone and tablet user in the country, without them worrying about incremental or high costs. By breaking the 3G entry barrier, we plan to bring about a behavioral change and take the benefits of quick data access to everyone and impact not just lives, but lifestyles as well.”
The Company’s 3G network is supplemented by an IP back-haul for a superior data usage experience. Further, the Company’s fiber-linked towers will help carry the incremental traffic that will come in.
3G @ 2G prices
Reliance Communications’ subscribers can now access 3G services at Rs 123 for 1 GB, Rs 246 for 2 GB and Rs 492 for 4 GB. New customers coming to the Reliance network through MNP will also be able to avail of 1 GB of 3G data free per month for two months. Details here
