Bangalore, May 8, 2013: Embedded solutions and services company, Global Edge Software,  has entered into an agreement to acquire an automotive and automation control specialist, Dearborn Electronics (India). Dearborn will continue to remain a separate entity as a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Edge Software.

Mr  Kumar told IndiaTech Online that GlobalEdge wanted to preserve the identity of Dearnorn, post acquisition. Srinivas Prasad Managing Director, Dearborn Electronics will continue to be on the Board of Dearborn India and Anand Mutalik will continue as CEO of Dearborn India, he said, adding that Anand brings in 3 decades of experience in IT industry and had been one of the core promoters of Kshema Technologies which was acquired by Mphasis.
