Reliance Mobile launches Indian language text news

Indian telecom service provider, Reliance Communications, has announced the launch of what it calls a ‘Samachar’ (news) service on Reliance Mobile Phones. The service provides text news in Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

 

The service is powered by Webdunia., which claims to be the pioneer in Indian languages in mobile and web applications.
