India m2m and IoT Forum will focus on both urban and rural challenges

New Delhi,  November 8 20127: ‘India m2m + IoT Forum 2018’, the 5th Annual National Forum on machine-to-machine (m2m) and internet of things (iot) from the larger umbrella of the Information Communications Technologies (ICT),  is scheduled to be held in New Delhi between January 30 and 31.
The forum aims at enriching the m2m and iot ecosystem by demonstrating the applications and usability of disruptive and specialized technologies such as m2m and IoT in making Smarter Cities and Smarter Villages in India.
With specially organized session on ‘SMART Cities – JOURNEY so far’,  participants will witness the Panel and Speakers from the ECOSYSTEM discussing and deliberating upon the Smart Cities PROGRESSES thus far, and the ‘Key Smart City Announcements by the Central and State Governments and Latest Updates’ from the time the Smart Cities Projects have been announced since the present government took offices in 2014.
The forum will also be hosting a dedicated ‘Smart Cities CEO’s + Industry Round Table’ that will include CEO’s of the Smart City Projects that have very successfully kicked-off and are delivering from the front. This Round Table Session will include the industry partners and players who are making the most ambitious project of the Government of India’s Smart Cities vision a  success. An insight into policy priorities over the next years will also remain the focus. 

Day 2, Wednesday, 31 January 2018 will  bring the  India Smart Villages Forum’ encompassing the vision for a well connecte Smart Village  highlighting  key sectors that will contribute towards  building scalable and sustainable smart villages in India.
The 5th edition of India m2m + iot Forum 2018 is being jointly organized by the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (DMS, IIT Delhi), FI Media (Future Internet and Electronic Media) a project funded by European Union, and m2m2iotpaper.
