Tata adds WiFi to its wireless landline offering

Bangalore,  March 26, 2015: Tata Docomo, the unified brand of Tata Teleservices has wifi-enabled its   wireless landline offering launched Tata Walky.  The traditional Tata Walky now gets wifi enabled; a multi-purpose, portable wireless device  -- Tata Photon Walky -- that can be used to make calls and surf the internet. It works both as a landline and WiFi hotspot and can connect upto 5 devices at the same  time

 Wi-Fi hotspots are becoming an increasingly important category for customers who want to access internet simultaneously at home or on move. Setting up the Tata Photon Walky is very easy, one needs to just press the Wi-Fi key on the Walky and start the Wi-Fi hotspot  which supports data download speed up to 3.2 Mbps 
Tata Photon Walky device is priced at Rs. 3850 and comes with a monthly tariff plan starting from Rs. 399 for 3 GB data going up to Rs.899 for 8 GB data for post-pay users.
