Bangalore, December 2, 2013: Amazon.in, the India-centred Amazon site   has  launched  a  mobile shopping app for iPhone and iPad users. The app offers customers a convenient, fast and secure way to search, browse, compare offers, and make purchases quickly and easily, anywhere from  a selection of over 11 million products available on www.amazon.in.

The Amazon App follows the launch of the Amazon App for Android phones in October this year. Customers can use these apps to conveniently shop on the go just as easily as they do on their PC; they can browse & search for their favorite products, view recommendations & customer reviews, add to wish lists & cart and complete the purchase using the available payment options and track the status of their orders.

New customers can sign up for an account using the Amazon App, while existing customers can login using their Amazon.in username and password to access the same account that they use on the website. Customers already using the app for other international Amazon stores can simply switch the country to India and shop onAmazon.in. The Amazon App is available as a free download on the iTunes store.
