NetGear brings all-in-one router-storage-server to Indian homes

Wireless internet access, backup/storage and media server... all in one box

New Delhi, August 5, 2013:   Global network products company Netgear has brought a consumer solution to India that may have been on the wish-list of many  voracious consumers of digital data:  a combo that includes sufficient backup storage; a  media server for multiple home entertainment need and a router to connect all this to the Internet.

The NetGear Centria is available in two models, WNDR4720 and WNDR4700. While the former comes with an internal 2TB SATA hard drive, latter is storage-ready and comes with an internal storage bay to which an external hard drive can be attached. Both models come with two Super Speed USB 3.0 ports for adding even more storage for user convenience. An SD card reader affords simple, single-click backup of media to the internal hard drive.The  900 MBPS dual band N900 WiFi router is common to both models.
