Hathway harnesses Technicolor tech for  HD video and ultra high speed broadband services

Bangalore August 1 2013 – Leading Bangalore based cable broadband service provider Hathway has turned to media and entertainment technology leader, Technicolor for MediaAccess gateways and MediaPlay set-top boxes to deliver HD video content, Digital Video Recording and time-shifting services -- and ultra-high speed broadband services to its customers. 

MediaAccess TCM471
features multiple channels aggregation (channel bonding) to maximize the performance over newly deployed cable infrastructure, while remaining backward compatible with older networks. It combines efficiently video over cable, video over IP and high-speed broadband services. MediaPlay DCI804 is a high-end DVR decoder delivering HD MPEG-4 video.
