Spice  breaches Rs 10,000 barrier for a quadcore smartphone

New Delhi, June22, 2013: Leading Indian mobile internet company, S Mobility, has launched a 5-inch quad-core-fuelled Android smartphone, below Rs 10,000. The Spice Coolpad MI 515 has already sold in excess of 1 million units globally. Spice has tied-up with global handsets player, Coolpad, to offer this smartphone.

Spice Coolpad MI 515 is a 9.9mm thin device that comes with a large 12.7 cm Ultra Bright IPS Display and a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor. It offers super clear video and DTS audio. Running on the Android Jellybean OS, this device has a 5 MP Auto Focus rear camera. Supported with 4GB ROM and a 1GB RAM, this smartphone can be expanded upto 32 GB through a micro SD card. Packed with a 2000mAh Li-ion-Polymer battery, Spice Coolpad MI 515 offers features like, Bluetooth 3.0, Proximity sensor, G-sensor, Light sensor, Media player, 3G Video calling and GPS/AGPS/GMS among others.
