New Delhi, March 22, 2012: The first Indian designed  tablet running the latest Android avatar -- 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich -- has been launched by the NOIDA-based Zync. The 7-inch Zync Z-990 has a high resolution screen and is powered by a 1.2 Ghz processor, with a 1GB RAM and4GB in-built memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB. The 380 gm Zync Z-990 comes with best in class Wi-Fi connectivity, 0.3 MP front camera, full-sized USB port that supports pen drives, external keyboards and 3G USB dongles, HDMI port, and micro USB port. . Priced at Rs 8,990, it is  arguably the  cheapest Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet in the country.
