Sony launches largest ever TV set in India: 65 inch HD-3D Bravia

January 31, 2012: Sony has launched its biggest TV yet, in India: the 65 inch (165cms) HX925 LED TV in the BRAVIA series is an internet-ready LED full HD 3D set that can be controlled by voice and mobile phone. It offers an India-specific internet content library from YouTube, Sony Entertainment Network, Star TV, BIGFlix, Times Internet (Indiatimes.com), Bollywood Hungama, What’s-On-India, Friday Moviez, etc enabling customers to get direct access to programs, news, songs, and albums.
You can even surf internet on TV through remote or connected smart phone and check any information from website with BRAVIA Internet TV.
This LED TV can also be controlled by your Android or iPhone by downloading free “Media Remote” app. Also, to make searching convenient this media remote application allows you to search songs, albums, applications easily, with the help of voice search. This voice search, available on Android phones, responds to direct voice commands given by you and displays it on the television screen. KDL-65HX925 also has social media applications like Facebook, Twitter and Skype.
The Full HD 3D HDTV alternatively reproduces distinct Full HD 1080 images for each eye, to deliver crisp and vivid 3D pictures. The active shutter glasses are designed to help shut-out external light from all sides An advanced algorithm on Sony 3D HDTV converts existing Cyber-shot photos, 2D TV shows, sports, movies and games to simulated 3D with just the press of a button.

The model is priced at Rs. 359,900 and comes bundled with a Skype camera and two pairs of 3D glasses.
