HP Wi-Fi mouse eliminates USB receiver dongle

HP has launched in India, the industry’s first, Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse which does away with the need to plug a USB receiver into the PC or laptop: it directly uses the PC's WiFi receiver. The mouse instantly reconnects during each use and operates without interference from other wireless devices. The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse also offers: Up to nine months of battery life – more than twice the battery life of comparable Bluetooth models
Five customizable buttons allow users to create shortcuts for common actions such as cut, paste, undo and redo.A smooth, four-way-tilt scroll wheel to improve control while scrolling up and down or side to side. The mouse works up to 10m from the PC ( question: why would any one want to use a mouse, 10 m away from a PC?!). The mouse is available in India for Rs. 2999.
